Made from the famous honey-coloured Hamstone, and in view of Ham Hill across the River Parrett our farm buildings are arrayed around a courtyard, along with our house and some stables.  Aided by the wonderful range of tenants who work here, this produces an intimate, vibrant feel and a very friendly atmosphere - there is a lot of cross fertilisation between the tenants, and a spirit of creativity.

2 Waggon Shed has just come available to let.  This small ground floor unit of 265 sq ft is accessed from the common Waggon Shed entrance hallway, but also has its own stable doors which open out into the farmyard.  The unit includes a small lobby with toilet off it, and the rest is open plan and L shaped, with a kitchenette in the back corner.  It's warm, light and airy and has oil fired central heating, shared with the rest of the Waggon Shed.  

The 20 units in our

Victorian farmyard range from 210 to 1300 sq ft, and from characterful workshops to comfortable offices, some with outstanding views.  All are well insulated and most have kitchenettes and toilets (with communal facilities, including a shower, for those without).  There is ample parking, and the area is quiet and peaceful, but surprisingly well connected.

OPEN DAY SUCCESS!

We were delighted with the large number of visitors to our Open Day back in September 2019.  We raised a total of £500 from the XR Cafe and donations from stalls which we divided between South Somerset Extinction Rebellion and Prostate Cancer UK, in fond memory of our late tenant Graham Colyer of Portable Floors who died earlier in the year and who contributed so much to our farmyard community over the years.

 With extra stalls, from previous tenants and local businesses, wall-to-wall live music, and XR's print making workshops, the whole farmyard was buzzing throughout the day!

During the coronavirus crisis, our farmyard remains open for business.  Whilst some businesses are working more or less normally, some are primarily working from home.
