There's a sink but no toilet (although the adjacent 1A, at 177 sq ft, has both kitchenette and toilet and could be included, as they originally were).

We are delighted to announce we are holding another Open Day on Saturday 27th September from 11am to 4pm!

Come and see what our wonderful tenants make and do, enjoy home-grown live music, delicious food from The Cook House, local beverages from Honeypot Farm, fun and games from Imagine Learn and Create, plus local stalls, also meet our new neighbours Bridge Farm Cohousing Coop, and support our chosen charities this year: Butterfly Conservation, and Refugee Aid from Taunton (RAFT).

Where we reared pigs, and previously the horse-drawn waggons were kept, this fine unit of 648 sq ft is on the ground floor, with two entrances: from the Waggon Shed lobby (into its own lobby with toilet), and double doors onto the farmyard.  It is currently a fully kitted out commercial kitchen, and the outgoing tenant would be interested in negotiating a price for passing on any of her equipment.  

  However, the unit would equally be ideal as an office or studio.

Flaxdrayton Farm is in beautiful rural South Somerset, surrounded by lush farmland and gentle countryside, and just 1/2 a mile from the A303. South Petherton is 2 miles away, Crewkerne and Ilminster are 5 miles, Yeovil 10 miles and Taunton 16.  Both the Paddington and Waterloo lines to London are in easy reach, Bristol Airport is an hour away and Exeter Airport is 40 minutes. 

Made from the famous honey-coloured Hamstone, and in view of Ham Hill across the River Parrett our farm buildings are arrayed around a courtyard, along with our house and some stables.  Aided by the wonderful range of tenants who work here, this produces an intimate, vibrant feel and a very friendly atmosphere - there is a lot of cross fertilisation between the tenants, and a spirit of creativity.
